The operating principle of flame arresters is based on absorbing and dissipating the heat of the flame. When the flame passes through the fine pores of a thermally conductive metal mesh, its heat energy is reduced, eventually extinguishing the flame.


Flame arresters are passive devices with no moving parts. They utilize corrugated metal mesh structures – known as Element or Matrix – to prevent flame propagation into protected sections.


The flame arresters manufactured by Noavaran Sanat Motor are constructed from multiple layers of precisely arranged corrugated metal strips and are installed at the inlet and outlet of the VRU system to ensure safe vapor recovery operations.
